BLUES WIN WINNIPEG UNRUH REALTY INVITATIONAL

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team went 4-1 to win the University of Winnipeg Unruh Realty Invitational, October 2-4. 

Second-year left side hitter Anna Feore was named the tournament's most valuable player following the Blues 3-0 tournament-final victory over the host Wesmen on Sunday afternoon. 

Game 1: Toronto 3, Manitoba 0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-16)
The Blues scored 11 points on serving aces and nine points on stuff blocks in the victory.

Game 2: Toronto 2, Brandon 3 (22-25, 25-22, 18-25, 25-17, 10-15)

Game 3: Toronto 3, Winnipeg 0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-15)

Game 4: Toronto 3, Manitoba 1 (19-25, 25-17, 25-21, 25-17) 

Game 5: Toronto 3, Winnipeg 0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-16)


The Varsity Blues return to action next weekend, October 9-11, as they travel to Montreal for the McGill Martlet Invitational.
