The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Western Mustangs 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-15) in exhibition action on Sunday evening at Goldring Centre.

Second-year left side hitter Anna Feore led the Blues with 10 kills, four digs and one ace, while rookie right side Alina Dormann notched seven kills, four aces, two blocks and five digs on the day.

Fifth-year veteran Bojana Radan recorded six kills, four blocks, three aces and three digs, while fellow co-captain Denise Wooding added a game-high 10 digs.

Veteran setter Madelyn Mandryk tallied 26 assists and five digs in the victory.

Western's A Gyimah notched 10 kills and four digs in the loss.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, October 23 as they open their 2015-16 regular season at Guelph. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
