Box Score Photo GalleryThe University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell 85-63 to the No. 4 McMaster Marauders on Saturday, January 31 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
With the loss, the Blues drop to 3-10 and remain in fourth place in the OUA East, while the Marauders are 12-3 and remain atop the Central division.
Third-year forward Devin Johnson led all players with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Julian Clarke added nine points, while Manny Sahota had eight points on the day.
Rookie guard Sage Usher recorded six points and a game-high seven assists in the loss.
The Marauders were led by third-year guard Rohan Boney's 18-points performance. Aaron Redpath notched 14 points, while Taylor Black had a double-double of 11 points and 12 boards in the win.
The Varsity Blues are back in action next Friday, February 6 as they host the Lakehead Thunderwolves at Goldring Centre. Game time is set for 8 p.m.Â
