BLUES BLANKED BY GAELS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-0 (19-25, 17-25, 12-25) to the Queen's Gaels on Saturday, January 24 in Kingston, Ont.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 3-13 in 10th place in the OUA standings.

Fifth-year veteran Jake Dysselhof led Toronto with seven kills, while Trevor Grand had six on the day. Rookie Alex Ferris added a game-high eight digs in the loss.

Toronto trailed Queen's 16-10 at the technical timeout of all three sets, keeping it close but unable to take one from the home team.

Aaron Nusbaum led all players with 10 kills, with Mike Tomlinson adding nine kills, four aces and three blocks in the win.

The Varsity Blues look to bounce back tomorrow as they take on the RMC Paladins in Kingston, Ont. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
