The Gryphons got out to a 16-10 lead at the second set technical time out, but the Blues rallied and four straight kills from Sider led another 7-0 streak to come back and take it 25-23.

Both teams went back and forth in the third, but another U of T run gave the home team a 16-11 lead at the technical timeout. The Gryphons fought back and a tip at the net by Alicia Combe-Dingwall evened the score at 17-17 but the Blues closed out the match on a 4-0 streak and a final kill from Bojana Radan sealed the third 25-22.

Guelph's Alicia Combe-Dingwall had four kills and three blocks, while Kristen Almhjell added 22 digs in the loss.
