GEE-GEES GET PAST BLUES

Box Score The Varsity Blues men's basketball team fell 86-60 to the No. 2 Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday, November 29 at Montpetit Hall.

The Blues head into the December break with a 2-6 record, tied with Queen's for third place in the OUA East division.

Third-year forward Devin Johnson led Toronto with 14 points and nine boards, while fourth-year guard Julian Clarke also had 14 points on the night. Dylan Churchill added nine points, with Manny Sahota and Kwasi Oti-Awere each tallying six in the loss.

Johnny Berhanemeskel led all players with 27 points for the Gee-Gees. Mike L'Africain added 13, while Caleb Agada had 10 in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to the court in the New Year when they host the Ryerson Rams on Wednesday, January 7 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
