BLUES BLANKED BY WARRIORS

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-0 (19-25, 17-25, 14-25) to the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 22) in Waterloo, Ont.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-6, while the Warriors improve to 6-4 in OUA action.

First-year left side hitter Thomas Meier led the Blues with nine kills, while veteran Jake Dysselhof added eight kills on the day.

Michael Denton notched 17 assists and seven digs, while Alex Ferris also had seven digs in the loss.

Jordan Dyck led all players with 11 kills for the Warriors, while Aidan Simone, Zachary Doherty and Jordan McConkey had seven kills apiece.

The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow as they host the McMaster Marauders at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
