BLUES NOTCH FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team defeated the RMC Paladins 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-17) in their 2014-15 home opener at the brand new Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport on Friday, October 31.

With the win, the Blues improve to 1-1 in the early goings of OUA men's volleyball action.

Fifth-year veteran Jake Dysselhof led the Blues with a game-high seven kills, while middle Trevor Grant added six kills and both Will Colucci and Kyle Fick notched five kills in the win.

Michael Denton led all players with 29 assists and nine digs on the night.

RMC was led by Blake McClelland's five-kill performance.

The Varsity Blues return to the floor tomorrow night as they host the Queen's Gaels at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
