The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's and women's volleyball teams host the RMC Paladins and Queen's Gaels in their first-ever matches at the Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport this Friday and Saturday night (October 31-Novemeber1).
The women start the action at 6 p.m., with the men scheduled to follow at 8 p.m. on body days. Advance tickets are on sale

Toronto's women are ranked fifth in the CIS and are 2-0 to start the season. The Blues have notched 3-0 victories over the Lakehead Thunderwolves and Brock Badgers over the past two weekends.
U of T boasts a veteran roster that features 2013-14 CIS all-Canadian Charlotte Sider and OUA all-star Jennifer Neilson. The duo currently lead the Blues averaging 2.83 kills per set.
Third-year setter Madelyn Mandryk ranks second in the OUA averaging 9.67 assists per set, while Bojana Radan sits fifth in the province with 1.2 blocks per set.
The RMC Paladins are 0-3 to start the season, while the Gaels are tied with the Blues with a 2-0 record after defeating Windsor and Western last weekend.
The Blues men are 0-1-0 after a 3-0 season-opening loss to the OUA defending champion McMaster Marauders last Saturday night.
Fifth-year veteran Michael Denton is back as Toronto's starting setter this season after leading the team with 348 total assists last year. Fellow veteran Alex Park also returns and will be Toronto's starting libero. He ended last season in the role, averaging 2.64 digs per set in the Blues final four matches.
Jake Dysselhof and Dave Merritt return as Toronto's big hitters, while Trevor Grant and Nathaniel Virgo look to lead in the middle this season.
Both RMC (0-3) and Queen's (0-2) are winless to start 2014.Â
