Box Score The No. 5 University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Brock Badgers 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-12) on Sunday night (Oct. 26) in St. Catharines, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 2-0-0 after a 3-0 season-opening victory at Lakehead last weekend.

Fifth-year rightside hitter Jennifer Neilson led the Blues with 10 kills and 10 digs, while fellow veteran Charlotte Sider added nine kills, seven digs, three blocks and two aces on the night.

Caleigh Cruickshank had seven kills, while Bojana Radan led the Blues with six blocks. Madelyn Mandryk tallied 27 assists and 10 digs in the victory.

Renne Helmer led the Badgers with nine kills and five digs in the loss.

The Varsity Blues return to action this Friday, October 31 as they host the RMC Paladins in their 2014-15 home opener at the brand new Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
