The University of Toronto Varsity Blues fastpitch team travelled to London, Ontario over the weekend for the OIWFA playoffs. 

The Blues dropped their first two games in pool play, first to the defending champions, the Western Mustangs 7-0, and next to the Ottawa Gee Gees 10-9. The Blues rallied to win their next pool match-up versus the Queen's Gaels 13-3. 

Toronto met the Brock Badgers in the quarter-finals and edged them out 7-6 to move on to the semis. The Varsity Blues once again met Western, and for the second time, were unable to defeat the eventual champions. U of T met the Windsor Lancers in the bronze medal match, but were narrowly defeated, 3-0.

The final OIWFA standings are:

1. Western 
2. Laurier
3. Brock
4. Toronto
