On Friday night, the Blues traveled to St. Catherine's, Ontario to take on the Brock Badgers. The Blues started slow, but held the Badgers and exploded for four runs in the third inning. Â Using her speed, and taking advantage of some shaky defence, Natasha Szlapetis hit a two RBI triple. Natasha was at it again in the fifth inning, when she capped off a seven run inning by hitting a three run home run. Â Renee Ridout led the Toronto defence, pitching very well in the 12-1 victory. Â
In the second match up against the Badgers, all scoring for the Blues came in the first inning as they opened the game with 10 runs. The Blues gave up just two runs for the 10-2 victory. Â Everyone chipped in on the big win, with Alicia Callaghan picking up the win on the mound.
On Saturday morning U of T travelled to Hamilton, Ontario for two games against the McMaster Marauders. Â The Blues jumped out to an early lead in the first inning with three runs scored. Â Renee Ridout was once again sharp in the circle, picking up the 10-0 victory. Â
McMaster fought hard in game two, which they needed for their chances to make the playoffs.  The Marauders got an early 1-0 lead, but the momentum quickly turned and the Blues took a 4-2 lead. Eleni Vlahiotis came in to pitch the sixth and seventh innings, and got the save, while Taisley Isaac picked up the 5-2 win.
