BLUES COMPLETE SEASON SWEEP OF LANCERS

Box Score The Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team defeated the Windsor Lancers 3-1 (25-21, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21) on Friday, February 1 in Windsor, Ont.
 
With the win, the Blues move into sole possession of sixth place with a 6-9 record. Toronto has won four of their past five contests.
 
Third-year left side hitter Dave Merritt tallied a team-high 13 kills, with both Mitchell Woodside and Jake Dysselhof adding 11 kills on the night. Michael Denton notched 35 assists and eight digs in the win.
 
Windsor was led by Kyle Williamson’s 13 kills, with Greg Simone adding 12 kills and a game-high 10 digs in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues look to keep the streak going as they travel to take on the Western Mustangs tomorrow night at 7 p.m. in London, Ont.
