Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped a 78-53 decision to the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, November 23 in Guelph, Ont.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-5, while Guelph improves to 2-6 on the year.

Fifth-year guard Alex Hill (Toronto) led the team with 19 points, while adding four rebounds, two steals and two assists. Fellow veteran guard Matt Savel notched 13 points and two steals in the loss.

Guelph was led by Zachary Angus, who recorded a game-high 24 points, with Jack Beatty adding 13 points and eight boards in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Saturday, November 30 as they travel to take on the Ryerson Rams. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
