Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-20) to the Western Mustangs on Friday, November 15 in London, Ont.
With the loss, the Blues drop to 2-5 and sit in seventh place, while the Mustangs improve to 5-1 and remain in third in the OUA standings.
First-year standout and Toronto native Will Colucci led the Blues with 14 kills, six digs and three blocks, while Matthew Vares (Scarborough) added 12 kills. Michael Denton and Aleksa Miladinovic split setting duties with 14 and 22 assists, respectively, in the loss.
Western was led by Garrett May's game-high 15-kill performance. Phil James added 11 kills in the victory.
The Varsity Blues look to bounce back tomorrow night as they head to Windsor to take on the Lancers. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
