BLUES HOST THUNDERWOLVES SUNDAY

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team are set to host the Lakehead Thunderwolves this Sunday, November 3 at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

U of T first travels to take on the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon in Hamilton.  The Blues are 1-2 to start the season. After dropping a 3-2 decision to the Ryerson Rams in their season opener, Toronto swept the Nipissing Lakers 3-0 and then fell to the No. 5 York Lions 3-0 last weekend.

Fourth-year veterans Jennifer Neilson and Charlotte Sider head the Blues attacking game, with 31 and 28 kills, respectively. Rookie standout Tessa Davis leads the team with seven blocks, while Emma Jennings has six serving aces so far this season.

Madelyn Mandryk and Malena Rapaport have split setting duties, averaging 4.43 and 5.75 assists per set, respectively.

The Thunderwolves are 2-0 after notching two wins against the Windsor Lancers on opening weekend. Fifth-year left side hitter Jorie Daymond leads the team with 4.20 kills per set, while Jennifer Casey has 3.71 kills per set.
