The Varsity Blues baseball team fell 10-1 to the Laurier Golden Hawks on Tuesday, October 1 at Bechtel Park in Waterloo, Ont.

With the loss, the Blues drop to 8-10 on the season and sit 5.5 games back of Brock, Guelph and Western, who hold identical 13-4 records.

Steven Hersch led the Blues offensively with two hits, while Jonathan Isaac had one RBI in the loss.

The Varsity Blues look to bounce back this Saturday, October 5 as they travel to London, Ont., to take on the Western Mustangs. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
