WARRIORS BATTLE PAST BLUES

The Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (22-25, 21-25, 17-25) decision to the Waterloo Warriors on Saturday night in Waterloo, Ont.

Mitchell Woodside led the Blues with eight kills and eight digs, while Jonathan Adomait added six kills on the night. Matthew Vares notched a team-high nine digs, while Alex Park had 14 assists in the loss.

Waterloo was led by Cameron Wheelan’s nine-kill performance. Fiodar Kazhamiaka and James Evans each had seven kills, while Erich Woolley had 14 digs in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to the court next Saturday, February 11 as they host the McMaster Marauders at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.  Game time is set for 3 p.m.
