The Varsity Blues men’s and women’s volleyball teams host the York Lions and McMaster Marauders this weekend (Nov. 10-11) at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.
The Blues take on the Lions on Saturday with the men scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. and the women to follow at 2 p.m. U of T then hosts the Marauders on Sunday at 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday’s games will be streamed live on SSN Canada via varsityblues.ca.

U of T’s women are 2-2 to start the season and sit tied with Brock for sixth place in the OUA.
Third-year right side hitter Charlotte Sider of Ottawa leads the team, averaging 3.37 points per set. Fifth-year veteran Shannon Rossall (Calgary) ranks third in the province with 20 blocks in four games, while her sister, Katrina, sits fourth in the OUA, averaging 4.06 digs per set.
Toronto’s men are also 2-2 and are coming off a narrow 3-2 loss to the OUA defending champion Queen’s Gaels last weekend. The Blues are tied with Ryerson for fifth place in the standings.
Fifth-year veteran and Clyde River, P.E.I., native Mitchell Woodside leads the Blues and ranks among the top 10 players in the OUA with 3.00 kills per set. Team captain Michael Denton ranks third among OUA setters with 11.14 assists per set.
