Box Score The Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team shut out the Waterloo Warriors 3-0 (25-23, 27-25, 25-17) on Saturday night (Nov. 24).
 
The Blues enter the December exam break with a 5-4 record, tied for fifth in the OUA with McMaster Marauders.
 
Third-year right side hitter Jennifer Neilson (Port Coquitlamn, B.C.) led the Blues with 14 kills, four digs and three blocks. Ottawa native Charlotte Sider added 12 kills, six digs and two aces on the night.
 
Alexandra Hudson and Shannon Rossall each led the team with 15 digs, while Madelyn Mandryk recorded 24 assists in the win.
 
Clara Tse led the Warriors with 13 kills in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues return to the court Dec. 28-30 as they host their annual national invitational tournament at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym. Regular season action resumes on Saturday, January 5 when the Blues host the Ottawa Gee-Gees at 2 p.m.
