LANCERS TOP BLUES ON THE ROAD

Box Score The Varsity Blues men’s basketball team dropped an 82-64 decision to the No. 5 Windsor Lancers on Saturday, November 24 at St. Denis Centre.
 
With the loss, the Blues fall to 2-4 and sit in seventh place in the OUA East. Toronto will look to wrap up the first half of the season on a high note as they host the McMaster Marauders and Brock Badgers next weekend (Nov. 30-Dec. 1).
 
Fourth-year guard Alex Hill led all players with 23 points in the loss. The Toronto native went 10-for-14 from the free throw line and added six rebounds on the night.
 
Third-year player Dylan Churchill (Ottawa) tallied a career-high 15 points, while veteran Arun Kumar (Hamilton, Ont.) hit double digits for the sixth-consecutive game, adding 10 points.
 
Lien Phillip led the Lancers with a double-double of 15 points and 13 boards in the win.
 
The Blues play host to the Marauders on Friday night (Nov. 30) at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym. Advance tickets are on sale here. The game will also be streamed live, starting with tip off at 8 p.m.
