WOODSIDE LEADS BLUES TO FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON

Box Score The Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team blanked the Windsor Lancers 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-19) on Saturday, October 27 at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.
 
With the win, U of T sits at 1-1 after opening weekend.
 
Fifth-year right side hitter Mitchell Woodside (Clyde River, P.E.I.) led all players with 14 kills and added two blocks on the night. Jake Dysselhof notched six kills, four digs and three blocks, while Michael Denton tallied 32 assists in the win.
 
Windsor was led by Kyle Williamson, who notched 12 kills. Both Greg Simone and Timothee Jaumel had six kills in the loss.
 
The Varsity Blues return to the court next Saturday, November 3 as they travel to Kingston, Ont., to take on the RMC Paladins. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
