The Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team fell 3-0 (25-22, 25-19, 25-20) to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday, November 26 at Burridge Gym in Hamilton, Ont.
With the loss, the Blues drop to 1-7 and remain in ninth place in the OUA standings and the Marauders (7-2) stake claim on second place.
Fourth-year veteran right side hitter Mitchell Woodside, a native of Clyde River, P.E.I., led the Blues with eight kills and four digs. Second-year libero Michael Denton added nine digs, while Steven Khuu had 25 assists in the loss.
McMaster’s Kevin Stevens tallied a game-high 12 kills and added five digs in the win.
The Blues return to action tomorrow afternoon (Nov. 27) as they take on the Rams at Ryerson at 12 p.m.
