The Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (12-25, 10-25, 21-25) decision to the Brock Badgers on Saturday, November 13 at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

Varsity Blues player of the game Alexandra Hudson of Mississauga, Ont., as well as rookie leftside hitter and Ottawa native Charlotte Sider led the Blues with 10 kills each. Libero Piril Candas and setter Malena Rapaport each had six digs in the loss.

Brock was led by Shannon Anderson’s 11-kill performance. Tess Palmateer recorded a game-high eight digs, while setter Ally Fast tallied 26 assists in the win.

The Varsity Blues return to action next weekend (Nov. 20-21) when they travel to Thunder Bay, Ont., to take on the Lakehead Thunderwolves. Game time on both days is 2 p.m.
