The Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (14-25, 19-25, 15-25) decision to the No. 6 Western Mustangs on Saturday, November 12 in London, Ont.
With the loss, the Blues are now 2-5 and sit tied for eighth with the Waterloo Warriors, while the Mustangs improve to a perfect 6-0 and sit atop the OUA standings.
First-year leftside hitter Jake Dysselhof of Mississauga, Ont., led the Blues with seven kills and six digs, while Kelowna, B.C., native Killian Neman and Jonathan Adomait of Dundas, Ont., had five kills apiece in the loss.
Western was led by Matt Poulin’s 11 kills and four serving aces. Alan Screaton chipped in with eight kills in the win.
The Varsity Blues return to the court tomorrow when they travel to Windsor, Ont., to take on the Lancers at 3 p.m.
