DYSSELHOFF LEADS VOLLEYBALL TO VICTORY

First-year leftside hitter Jake Dysselhoff led the Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team to a 3-1 victory over the RMC Paladins on Sunday, October 24 at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

Dysselhoff of Mississauga, Ont., recorded a team-high 16 kills and added eight digs. Third-year veteran and Kelowna, B.C., native Killian Newman had a career-high 11 kills, while Adam Palmer and Jonathan Adomait had nine on the day. Rookie setter Alex Park controlled the ball well, with 31 assists and seven digs in the victory.

RMC as led by Paul Demer’s game-high 22-kill performance. Brent Fisher led all players with 14 digs in the loss.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, October 29 when they take on the Ryerson Rams. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
