The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s curling team went 0-3 at the OUA East sectional this weekend (Jan. 17-18) hosted by the Laurier Golden Hawks.

The Blues fell 11-2 to the Laurentian Voyageurs in their first game on Saturday. In their second matchup of the day, Toronto lost to a strong Queen’s Gaels squad 11-3.

On Sunday morning, the Trent Excalibur got past the Blues 8-3 in their third and final match.

The Varsity Blues return to action Jan. 30 – Feb. 1, when they travel to St. Catharines, Ont. for the OUA crossover hosted by the Brock Badgers.
