The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball teams travelled across town and fell 3-0 (11-25, 10-25, 22-25) to the York Lions on Friday, November 7th.

The Varsity Blues were led by 2007-08 OUA all-star Heather Bansley’s (Waterdown, Ont.) seven kills and 17 assists. Richmond Hill’s Dianne Burrows added six kills and 11 digs in the loss.

The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, November 14 when they travel to Waterloo, Ont. to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks. The women are scheduled to start at 6 p.m., with the men to follow at 8 p.m.
