BLUES VOLLEYBALL DOMINATE PALADINS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s volleyball teams defeated the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Saturday, November 1 at the Athletic Centre Sports Gym.

Steven Kung (North York, Ont.) led the Blues, amassing 19 kills and five digs in the 3-0 (25-12, 25-22, 25-12) win. The Paladins had the Blues on their toes in the second game with some long rallies keeping the score close. However, Toronto came out on top and dominated again in the third game to come away with their second win of the season.

Fifth-year veteran Jessi Lelliott (Kelowna, B.C.) had 11 kills and 14 digs for the Blues.

RMC was led by Phillip Gulajski (Ottawa, Ont.) who tallied 14 kills in the loss.

The Varsity Blues travel across town on Friday, November 7 to take on the York Lions. The women are scheduled to start at 6 p.m., with the men to follow at 8 p.m.
