The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s volleyball team travelled to Winnipeg this weekend (Oct 3-5) to participate in the Lea Marc Volleyball Challenge.

Toronto lost 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-19) to the Manitoba Bisons, 3-1 (15-25, 25-20, 25-19, 25-22) to the Winnipeg Wesmen, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-16) to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or, 3-0 (30-28, 25-12, 25-17) to the Guelph Gryphons and 3-1 (24-26, 25-19, 25-19, 25-21) to the Regina Cougars.

The Varsity Blues travel to Hamilton this weekend October (9-11) to continue their 2008-09 exhibition play at the Mizuno-McMaster Thanksgiving Classic.
