The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s water polo team fell 11-9 to the Carleton Ravens before defeating the Queen’s Gaels 15-5 on Saturday, October 4 in Kingston, Ont.

Laura Shaw (Coquitlam, B.C.) led the Blues offence with four goals against the Ravens, while Casey Pottier (Kitchener, Ont.) notched two in 11-9 loss.

The Blues downed the Gaels as Brittney Sinclair (Scarborough, Ont.) recorded four goals in the second game of the day. Regan Reid (Kitchener, Ont.) and Nicole Brown (Burlington, Ont.) each scored twice as Toronto came away with a convincing 15-5 over the Gaels.

The Varsity Blues women’s water polo team travels across town to face the York Lions on Thursday, October 9. The game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
