Third-year forward Brenley Jorgensen scored two goals and added four assists as the Varsity Blues women’s hockey team went 2-0 in OUA action this weekend.

The Kingston, Ont. native tallied her third point of the day when she scored with just four seconds remaining to tie the game in an eventual overtime victory over the UOIT Ridgebacks on Saturday.

Jorgensen went on to score a beautiful shorthanded marker and set up both of linemate Karolina Urban’s goals, including the eventual game-winner, as the Blues upset the No. 7 Queen’s Gaels on Sunday afternoon.

Jorgensen is now tied with teammate Lindsay Hill for fourth in OUA scoring with 10 goals and 14 assists in 19 games.

Honourable mention: Sarah Boyle (W-Track & Field) - won the women's high jump competition (1.72m) at the 29th annual Can Am Classic hosted by the Windsor Lancers this weekend.
