Third-year netminder Andrew Hunt combined for 80 saves as the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team went 1-1 at home this weekend.
The Surrey, B.C., native made 46 saves in his first start as a Varsity Blue, earning a shutout in a 5-0 victory over the RMC Paladins.
Hunt, a psychology major, followed that up with 34 saves versus the Carleton Ravens on Saturday night, making many spectacular saves to keep the score close for the majority of the game.
Hunt now holds a .951 save percentage in three games played.Â
