On the court, Hope Kotun was a force that could not be stopped, propelling the No. 3 nationally ranked Varsity Blues to a second straight victory to begin their 2021-22 season.
 
The third-year kinesiology major out of Sherwood Park, Alta, recorded a career-high 17 kills to go along with 11 digs in her squad's 3-1 (25-18, 24-26, 25-18, 25-12) win over the Rams.
 
The outside hitter, who currently ranks third in the OUA in kills per set with 3.43, and the rest of her Varsity Blues teammates will return to action November 26 when they visit the Trent Excalibur.
