Fourth-year goalkeeper Ben Grondin made a season-high nine saves as the Varsity Blues men’s soccer team dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to the No. 2 nationally-ranked York Lions in OUA quarter-final action on Wednesday night.

The law student from Calgary made five saves in the first half alone, including a beautiful diving stop in the 20th minute, to keep the match scoreless.
