Fourth-year Varsity Blues standout Lucia Stafford broke her second under-23 Canadian indoor record in three weeks this past weekend in Boston.

After setting an under-23 Canadian record in the 1500m two weeks ago, Stafford bettered her own 1000m mark on Friday night. The engineering major crossed the finish line in 2:39.28 to break her own record of 2:42.21 set in 2017.

Stafford and the Blues now prepare for the 2020 OUA championships this weekend at York University.
