A fourth-year setter from Oakville, Ont., Jordan Figueira recorded 64 assists, 14 digs and nine points in leading the No. 8 nationally-ranked Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team to a four-point road weekend.
 
The commerce major tallied 46 assists, nine digs and six points off of four aces, one kill and one block as the Blues upset the No. 7 Queen’s Gaels on Saturday night in Kingston. His 11.5 assists per set versus Queen’s is well-above his OUA-leading mark of 9.76, and would also rank first in all of U SPORTS.
 
Figueira helped the Blues kick off the weekend with a 3-0 sweep at RMC on Friday. There, he totaled 18 assists, five digs and three points. With the four-point weekend and series sweep of Queen’s, the Blues had a stronghold on first-place in the OUA East division.
