Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 78 assists, 18 digs and seven points in leading the No. 9 Varsity Blues men’s volleyball team to a four-point weekend.
The commerce major recorded 42 assists, four digs and three points as U of T topped their crosstown rival Ryerson Rams, 3-1, on Friday night.
A native of Oakville, Ont., Figueira then notched 36 assists, 14 digs and four points as the Blues defeated the No. 10 Guelph Gryphons on Sunday night.
Figueira currently leads all OUA setters, averaging 9.5 assists per set. The Blues go into the December exam break atop the OUA East division stands with a 7-1 record.
