A fifth-year defender from Mississauga, Ont., Alison Lee topped all players with three goals in leading the University of Toronto Varsity Blues field hockey team to their third straight OUA provincial title this past weekend in London, Ont.

Following a 4-0 quarter-final victory over McMaster, Lee scored two goals, including the game-winner as the Blues edged the Waterloo Warriors in semi-final action. Tied 1-1 at halftime, the four-time OUA all-star put the Blues up for good in the 44th minute and added another tally in the 67th minute en route to a 5-1 victory.

The kinesiology major didn’t stop there, scoring Toronto’s second goal as they defeated the Guelph Gryphons, 3-2, to win their 32nd provincial banner since 1971.
