A rookie forward from Markham, Ont., Natasha Athanasakos scored three goals and added one assist in her first two career games in the Blue and White this past weekend.

The criminology major potted two goals and one assist in leading the No. 8 Varsity Blues to a 4-1 victory over the Queen’s Gaels on Friday night in Kingston, Ont. Athanasakos followed that up with one goal, the eventual game-winner, as the Blues shut out the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Athanasakos currently leads the league with three goals and co-shares the point lead with four after the opening weekend of OUA women’s hockey action.
