Second-year forward Nathan Hudgin scored two goals and added one assist to lead the Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to a 6-5 overtime victory over the No. 9 nationally ranked Ryerson Rams on Saturday night (Oct. 19).
The Scarborough, Ont., native proved to be the game’s hero, scoring his second goal of the game just 2:37 into overtime to secure Toronto’s second win over a nationally-ranked opponent this season.
Hudgin, a third-year economics major, assisted on Toronto’s third goal of the game and scored 8:14 into the third period to give the Blues a 5-4 advantage. He has notched five points in the past two games, both versus Ryerson.
