Luke Spooner scored 13 goals as the Varsity Blues men’s water polo team completed an undefeated regular season with three wins this weekend (Nov. 14-15) at Carleton University.

The first-year life science student tallied three goals as the Blues handily defeated the 2008 OUA silver-medalist Carleton Ravens 17-3 on Sunday.

The Auckland, New Zealand native combined for 10 goals against the Western Mustangs and Queen’s Gaels on Saturday and was the team’s high scorer on the weekend as Toronto outscored their competition 65-8 in three games.

Spooner’s performance this weekend leaves him tied for fourth in OUA scoring with 27 goals this season.
