Fourth-year veteran Rob Lawand led the Varsity Blues men’s cross country team to a fourth-place finish at the 2018 OUA championships this past weekend in London, Ont.

The kinesiology major was the first Varsity Blue to cross the 10km finish line, placing ninth overall in 32:15 to earn OUA second team all-star honours.

The fourth-place team finish is Toronto’s best placing at the provincial championships since 2011.
