2017 world champion and 100 backstroke world record holder Kylie Masse earned her fourth straight OUA female swimmer of the year honours in leading the Varsity Blues to their fifth consecutive provincial title this past weekend in London, Ont.

The 2016 Olympic bronze medalist won four individual and two relay gold medals, while breaking five OUA records in the process.

Masse won the 50 and 100 backstroke events, earning OUA Grand Slam awards for both, while bettering her own OUA record in the 50-metre race. The LaSalle, Ont., native and kinesiology major also won the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly races, setting new OUA records in both, and helped the Blues to OUA record-breaking performances in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays.
