Laura Upenieks, and eight-year veteran and reigning OUA individual champion, won the gold medal at the Toronto Invitational at Angus Glen Golf Course.
 
The PhD candidate in sociology finished with a two-day total of 163, one stroke ahead of teammate Kelsey Fuchs and Windsor’s Emily Stadder. Upenieks shot a tournament-low round of 77 on Saturday to secure the victory.
