Andrea Burley won the gold medal in the women’s expert division as the Varsity Blues mountain biking team wrapped up their 2016 season at Ganaraska Forest this past Sunday.

Burley, a first-year Masters student studying physiotherapy, crossed the 19km finish line in 1:01.14, three full minutes ahead of Emily Handford of Queen’s University.

It was Burley’s second consecutive gold-medal finish, after claiming the top spot at Mansfield Outdoor Centre.
