Laurel McGillis, a fifth-year attacker from Peterborough, Ont., led the Varsity Blues women’s lacrosse team to two big wins this past weekend in Oshawa.
 
McGillis scored four goals to lead the Blues to a 13-10 victory over the Queen’s Gaels on Sunday morning. The Masters of medical science student followed that up with a two goal, two assist performance in a dominant 19-2 victory over the UOIT Ridgebacks.
 
The Blues improve to 4-0 and currently sit atop the standings after two weeks of OUA lacrosse action.
