Fourth-year forward Jeff Brown extended his point streak to nine games with two goals and one assist in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s hockey team to two big wins this weekend (Jan. 23-24) at home.

A media studies major from Toronto, Brown scored one goal as U of T defeated Lakehead 4-3 Friday night, earning their first win over the Thunderwolves since 2001.

Brown kept on rolling into Saturday’s 3-2 win over York, scoring the game’s first goal and setting up the winner.

Brown has scored seven goals and added eight assists for 15 points in the last nine games, leading Toronto with 26 points so far this season.
