Sarah Boyle earned the Varsity Blues lone gold medal at the 2008-09 CIS track and field championships at the University of Windsor this past weekend (March 12-14).

Tied with Alberta’s Lindsey Bergevin as the top ranked female high jumper, Boyle dominated the event, missing only two attempts to reach a final height of 1.79m and edge out Bergevin for the CIS gold medal.

An OUA first team all-star and high jump champion, Boyle was named a first team all-Canadian for her gold-medal national performance.
