Third-year goalkeeper Rab Bruce-Lockhart posted 11 saves and shone in penalty kicks in helping the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men’s soccer team to the OUA bronze medal this past weekend (Nov. 1-2) in Hamilton.

A native of Victoria, Bruce-Lockhart made six saves over 90 minutes of action versus the Ryerson Rams in the bronze-medal match. He then stepped up and made two big diving saves on Ryerson’s first and fourth shooters in penalty kicks to seal the victory for the Blues.

Bruce-Lockhart also notched five saves in a semifinal loss to the eventual champion York Lions on Saturday.
